“So that you may be considered worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.”
When I was in my early 20s I tried finishing the college degree that I started when I was 18. I earned an AA and was trying to finish a BA. This was in the late 1980s. I started out with lots of science as I originally planned to be a nurse or an OT. I then switched my major to Liberal Studies so I could pursue the teaching credential instead.
So there I sat about 2 years before I got married, in a core class that was required for my major. When the instructor said those “last words i heard in college” that day, I did not have the context or knowledge to understand what he was really talking about. I just knew it was bad. He said,

“The goal is to destroy the Old Paradigm and replace it with the New Paradigm, based on these books.
And YOU are the change agents in the classroom, who will do this.”

Now when I heard those words, I knew it was really bad and deeply evil spiritually. We had read most of the books and documents that were required for this class, and I understood a little of what the New Paradigm was, of which he spoke. The books were about Communism, Marxism, Global Government and Cosmic
New Age Mysticism and secret mystery religions (the bible calls this the “deep things of satan”). I did not want to read these books, and I did not finish them.

Wanting to be a missionary, I knew that all this was the opposite of the calling that God had given me and it was the spiritual opposite of God’s gospel. That university curriculum, ie the “New Paradigm” is “satan’s gospel”.

I only understood enough of the “New Paradigm” to know it was against God and was based on rebellion against Him. But I did not understand what Communism or Global Government really meant, since i knew almost nothing about history and I was a baby Christian, immature in the faith and still learning the basics of the bible.
Now at this stage of my life I know a bit more about the history of Communism, Marxism & Theosophical Mysticism.

I knew this “New Paradigm” gospel message we teachers were to proselytize in the classroom was the direct opposite of the message that Jesus Christ gave to me, concerning Himself.

In my life, God has told me many times to either go out from a thing, or to stay. In either case, He has always combined that instruction with this: that I must trust Him. So this was a time when He said to go out and I did; I went out from university (dropped out) right after this and never got a teaching credential.

Now 30+ years later I understand what I did not “get” at age 22 about what the Old Paradigm is. The Old Paradigm is a number of specific things relating to God, and the New Paradigm is simply satan waging war on God as described in Psalm 2.

The war being waged in this present age

Old Paradigm:
Creation– God’s creation: the heavens and the earth, things seen and unseen, mankind (Adam and Eve)
God’s created order (natural law)
God’s intention to have a relationship with mankind and His promise of a redeemer of mankind from sin and death
God’s promise to Noah to not judge the world’s sin with a flood, the saving of Noah’s family in the ark
God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: the hope of the world through the seed of Abraham
God’s commandments as given to Moses: His clear communication of what He wants His people to do (biblical law)
Rule of Law, a concept that comes from observing natural law and knowing about God’s commandments (biblical law)
Common Law, a concept that comes from knowing about natural law and biblical law
Constitutional Law or man’s ordered government based on laws, a concept that comes from knowing about natural law, biblical law, and common law.
Civilization based on Christianity and the bible in general
Truth based on scriptures, the truth of Jesus Christ and redemption and sin, righteousness and judgment and the Kingdoms of God.
Christianity / the Christian faith
God’s people— those who 1. have God’s laws in their hearts 2. Are included in the promise to Abraham and his seed, 3. Those in Christ by faith (all three of these are descriptions of Christians).

“Destroy the Old Paradigm” means:
Destroy God’s creation
Destroy God’s created order
Destroy God’s intention to have a relationship with mankind and the understanding of His promise of a redeemer for mankind
Destroy the understanding of God’s promise to Noah and the understanding of God saving Noah’s family in the ark
Destroy the understanding of God’s promises to Abraham; the hope of the world through the seed of Abraham
Destroy, mock, banish, oppose or hide God’s commandments in every way possible
Destroy the Rule of Law
Destroy Common Law
Destroy Civilization based on Christianity and the bible in general
Destroy the understanding that there is truth, destroy all attempts at proclaiming and establishing truth
Destroy Christianity / the Christian faith
Destroy God’s people

“New Paradigm” means:
The esoteric new age “new earth”
The upside down order– everything the opposite of God’s order
Attempt to prevent mankind establishing a relationship with God through God’s redeemer
Establish an alternative understanding of Noah, that hides the truth
Confuse the truth about what the Abraham-Isaac-Jacob narrative is all about
Establish alternative demonic commandments that all go against and mock God. Promote sin and idolatry.
Establish new laws for the new post-Christian world
Establish an anti christian civilization that is not civilized but embodies the opposite of civilization
Establish society on the opposite of God’s society… establish bondage, slavery, oppression, injustice, unrighteousness, chaos and all wickedness.
Establish Civilization 2.0 which is Nimrod attempting to defy God with the the ‘technology’ of his tower of Babel
Establish the anti- Christianity of satanic one world religion
Establish LIES
Establish the rule of satan openly on the earth in all things with no opposition, ie no people of God, no Holy Spirit.

This is the war in which we find ourselves. This is why we are here, in our flesh, in Christ, with His Power, the Holy Spirit in us, at this time. This is why we fight bravely with the weapons the Lord has given us. Let us continue to fight the good fight of faith, shining the Light of Jesus Christ into this present darkness, praying with faith, opposing& shutting up principalities, battling powers&rulers, wielding weapons of righteousness, obeying Christ, crushing snakes, healing the sick, raising the dead, driving out demons,
freely giving, speaking the truth,

showing God’s creation, upholding God’s order, believing God’s promises, keeping God’s commandments, obeying God’s laws, living God’s ways, believing God’s Word, demonstrating God’s power, being His anointed witnesses, giving glory to His Redeemer, and serving our Beloved King, Lord Jesus Christ by serving in His Kingdom which is even now in our midst and also in the age to come. Therefore let us be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God.
“.....so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.” 2Thes1:5
