The first in a series of who-dun-its. The main character is a sports agent who is also a lawyer, and investigates crimes.
His "sidekick" and partner in the business is a MASTER in martial arts although he looks like a "whitebread" type from the suburbs.
There's sports involvement, contracts and such. A young girl is killed... or is she still alive? Her father is killed 18 months later... is it related? It's all resolved in the end.
The investigator, Myron Bolitar, is interesting and intelligent.

I love Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series!

I enjoyed the book, but didn't love it enough to read more in the series. Since so much was based on sports, which is SO not an interest of mine, I found my attention waning.
