And I think over the last few weeks it has finally arrived! Well… the weather part of summer anyway!
The other night was a bit unpleasant, rather warm which can be uncomfortable, and even more so with a kicking bump that won’t let you sleep as much as you want to. With the good weather last weekend we made use of a paddling pool we had got a few weeks before, Noelle had fun splashing around in it, and with Noelle being Noelle, of course more of the water ended up outside the paddling pool.
Big bump now, no more than 5 weeks to go… according to schedules. I really am struggling to believe how quickly this has come around. I can sometimes actually see her moving down there, which is lovely in a way.
My parents have had both of their covid jabs now, which is really good, feel happier now they are a lot more protected. Going at how quickly they are getting through people at the moment, it’s whether or not I will be in line before bump 2 (at the moment preferred choice of name is Summer Willow) makes an appearance. (A further explanation for the entry title!)
It appears Tom’s company are looking to extend home working - I think that this is going to be the norm for more jobs and companies now, and I don’t mind one little bit, as it means we don’t have to get up early, we can have breakfast together and it’s getting that time from commuting back in the day. He’s asked if he can go to a homeworking type work pattern and is waiting to hear. Would be helpful as he can be flexible with hours which will be a great help with Noelle and Summer-bump.
Going to do sausage rolls for lunch today and as it’s such a nice day, eat in the garden and get the paddling pool out for Noelle again.
Take care all,
Maizee, Tom, Noelle and Bump 2 xx
