Turn Around Don't Drown in Life After 60

How many times must we say this? Our area is looking at some heavy rainfall today that will possibly lead to flash flooding. And the warning we get, every time…Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Are we a society that is so stupid we can’t remember simple warnings?
Much like the tornado warning precautions. If you don’t get it the first time, I am not sure you will get it no matter how many times you are told.
And then there are the continued police shootings. Let’s face it, from here on out every police-involved shooting will be questioned. Just like the lastest victim, he was in his car and trying to get away. Oh, wait, the family members, who were not even present at the time, maintain he was afraid of being shot so he was trying to get to safety. Not to be cruel, but how did that work for him? Three shots to the arm apparently were not enough, so yeah the one to the back of the head as he was driving off did the job.
If you fear for your life or question if the car stopping you is legit, pick up a cell phone and call 911. But do it ever so slowly and explain what you are doing to the officer who has stopped you. Use your head for something other than a hat rack or a target.
