Ugh in The Monster

So I have everything set-up, video card drivers installed, bluetooth drivers installed, windows installed. The only thing I don't have is the internet. Since my desktop doesn't connect to wifi(as usual) I have to connect it up via connection. HOWEVER, my sister won't let me move the modem and router into my room to connect it up. It would take roughly 10 mins to do, yet she says it's 'unfair'. She's basing that off of a botched attempt I tried(with a windows 98 computer BTW, so of course it failed), about a year ago. -_-
