LITTLE THINGS in LIFE OF A D.O.M. WIDOWER LIVING ON THE NJ SHORE

My life lately has been full of " Little Things ". None of them in themselves worthy of mention or making an entry. All of them combine to have me busy. so let me just do a bit of updating. Athena, my Tennant, has completed the process of moving her belongings into my house as well as securing larger items she does not need at my house. Last Friday she completed the process and slept there that night along with her Yellow Lab, Kerrie. The dog is calm and obedient as does not look to be a problem. Saturday we managed to hook up her Laptop to my wireless network. We also drove to a Verizon Store and picked up a Cable Box for her. Then since we were in her SUV we stopped at Home Depot and I bought a Plastic upright shed for my yard to hold my rakes, propane tanks and the like. I am excited for my Granddaughter's Graduation from Med School in a couple of weeks as well as the youngest Grand child's concert this weekend. AA is going well for me and in May I have three members of the Beginners Group I lead due to reach their one years sobriety milestone. Last night I attended the celebration of another of the group's woman who made her year. She introduced me to her husband who attended the event. She said her husband was the man who drove her to drink but the only one who hung around to be sure she got home safely. So my life is now not a Roller Coaster ride but more like the ripples in a dish of baked Lasagna. That is good.
