I am highly caffeinated and my mind is all over the place lol.
Random thoughts are running through my head tonight in down here Texas for no apparent reason. An armadillo was just in the parking lot of the security post I'm working for my second job, and a lady with a VERY pronounced New Jersey accent came over to me and asked "What in the world is that?" When I explained that it was just an armadillo and that they are harmless, she laughed and told me that most people up north think they're myths, kind of like the stories of us having alligators in our ditches here...ummm. I didn't have the heart to break that one to her, I was afraid it would send her screaming up Interstate 45 at a highly unsafe rate of speed, lol.
It's 11:30 pm here, and I'm watching 13-15 year old kids wander around and wondering what their parents are thinking letting them wander around town at this time of night, and dressed like that to boot. I'm just getting old, but the generation gap has surely kicked me in the backside.
And I'm looking at a thirty some odd year old woman in short shorts, halter top, and cowgirl boots walk around with pink and blue hair. Does she not have any friends who can be honest with her? Further, does she have children and does she truly understand the level of embarrassment this would cause them in front of their friends? Wait a minute; maybe that's her reason. Wish I had though of this one when my boys were younger. I'd have looked great with a Mohawk and spandex pants.
Sorry, I've been awake for almost 34 hours and am in the middle of my second 15 hour shift....Starbucks has been both my best friend and most mind warping enemy this weekend. Y'all take care.

This whole entry cracked me up. Thank you for saying things I've wanted to say plenty of times. Also, I'm from south Texas. I recently had to call a game warden to lasso an alligator out of my yard.
