Well, back to the scenic routes. I realized the other day that I used my online diary much like a collection of old day planners on a shelf. "When did I pull Kelly out of school to go shopping that one day that she had an orthodontist appointment?" "Did I have a migraine three months in a row? Or did it skip a month?" "What was the name of that place we went to that summer that Skip cut his hair?" And for the last year, I've had to rely on my rapidly aging brain to give me those details. Gotta get back on the Prose Horse. Before my life is just somebody's that I used to know.
So, ideas to expand upon in no particular order:
I got a job as an event photographer. It involves travel. And hotels. I'm pretty darned excited about it. I get to (have to?) wear a suit. I've been doing a bunch of volunteer photo gigs. They're paying off. I'm involved with rehabilitating a hoarder house (not my own, folks). It's intense. I became a Choir Mama. My well-publicized goal is to be their favorite. I am currently making 25 Show Choir costumes. Blue sequins for EVERYONE! I went to Disneyland with 150 choir kids. I protected one of my choir kids from a stalker. I visited one of my choir kids in the hospital, and brought her gluten free treats. Kelly got braces. Skip comes home in three weeks. Nate is on spring break right now, and we've done exactly nothing fun. That changes today. :) Brides of March. Boo yeah. Fire spinning.
That should keep me busy for a while. And trigger my memory when I need to write a quick entry. Now, it's breakfast time before heading to the airport.
