Common Sense in Life After 60

There now lay before us a great divide in race, creed, color, and religion. That divide keeps getting wider. And then throw in the lack of Common Sense in our government and you have a recipe for a collapse in our economy. And it didn’t take the Democrats but a few hours to accomplish that feat.
The Keystone XL Pipeline is just the tip of the iceberg. Gas and oil prices will skyrocket again. Remember in some parts of the country gasoline dropped to new lows. $1.49 a gallon just a few months ago, and today $2.04. As soon as Biden put a stop to the work on the pipeline the Middle East took note and will be prepared to import oil to us at a premium price.
$15.00 minimum wage? Two thoughts here. One, Biden either failed economics or he has his sleepy little head in the sand. I am going with both! Raising the minimum wage to $15.00 will first off raise the cost of goods and services even more. Small mom and pop operations will not be able to afford to pay almost double wages to their employees.
Let the lawmakers and president take a pay cut. They are all overpaid anyway. Common sense has been removed from our government and Venezuela should serve as an example of where this country is headed. Take stock in guns and ammo.

Already noticed the gas prices are rising in California... it was 2.99 just last week and now this week is 3.09, and that's AMPM, the cheapest. Hope these Democrat are happy.
I thought the 15/hr was for federal workers and private contractors only. I'm sure this is just the beginning of making the federal minimum wage $15/he, which will cause inflation and people still won't be able to afford anything... but also destroy contractor business and eventually other businesses as well... and the more you make, the more they take so taxes will skyrocket... everyone will be broke.. but isn't that how they want it?
whoever couldn't have seen this coming shouldn't have been allowed to vote. Our country will be destroyed... it's truly tragic.
And you can't trust the Republicans to do anything..
I half your age and Im absolutey terrified for the future of this country. I'm terrified for the future of my nieces.. This can either go thru the easy way, or the hard way with Harris being a tyrant. Scary; absolutely terrifying and these people don't even see it. It's awesome(not in a good way).

The min wage is for Fed and contractors for now, but you and I can both see the writing on the wall...Government overreach again, and you are correct, you can't trust the Republicans to do anything.
We have a whole generation coming up that thinks they are entitled. And at half my age, you should be terrified. Even our next elections will be scrutinized. California is part of the problem, they keep electing Nuthead Pelosi!!!

I live in Commiefornia. It's awful here! I wish I could afford to move to another state but many factors way in.. my family is here, I have a good job here with benefits and retirement. I can't up and leave with nothing. I'm also working on saving up for a newer car, which will cost more simply because California.
I live in NORCAL so we dont want the stuff SoCal wants but it always gets pushed thru and our voices aren't heard ever because there's not as many people. It's truly sad and it seems there this mass exodus out of the bay area, which is destroying our counties. They are slowly becoming blue... ugh! Soon enough they'll start having regulations on everything like in the bay area. I don't see why anyone would move to another area just for them to want it to become the area they left. I'm starting to think there is a ploy to destroy the more conservative areas. Just like social media.
