dann isnt getting his raise. yes...you read that right.
heres the situation: (remember dann is a funeral director) last wednesday, dann and another coworker fucked up royally. brian was supposed to pick up a body and bring it back to the funeral home to be worked on the next day. he went, didnt check the paperwork, took the wrong person, and brought them back to the funeral home. dann had the box ready for the body and didnt check the paperwork. he just boxed the body up, trusting that brian had did his job. that night, his boss called dann about 9pm. the place where the body had come from called his boss and told him that the body that was supposed to be picked up never was and another body was gone. dann got his ass chewed out and then was asked to come to the funeral home. this mistake is HUGE. it could cost the funeral home a lawsuit. They had a long talk and his boss was really upset. brian ended up getting fired and danns raise was taken away. now, im upset because his raise was supposed to come through WEEKS ago. dann is LEGALLY supposed to get more money. he is a licensed funeral director. he is no longer a resident. he needs to be making more money. his boss knows our situation and did this to us. i understand dann screwed up royally. he really did. there was no way he should have trusted brian to do his job properly (he honestly should have been fired months ago) and should have checked the paperwork. however, i dont think it deserves to not get his raise. if dann quit and worked somewhere else, he would automatically be making more money because he is legally supposed to. sigh
so i dunno...things are just...still up in the air. dann is supposed to be letting me know his money situation this week and we need to call the realtor. i really think its just time to leave on my dime. i really do.
