This picture is from April 2006. I remember the day - not for this picture but for some of the others with it.

Maybe this one. Maybe not.

It's early Monday morning. I seem to have some time on my hands. No doubt it will disappear. It always does.

We stayed home yesterday. It was raining, not a very pleasant day and Jim had calves to take care of.

I did not do much. I took a random New Yorker to bed and read about life on the USS George H. W. Bush aircraft carrier and about cave explorers in Mexico.

I've been emptying out the freezer so we had fish and chips for supper.

I plan to finally buy groceries tonight. Fruit and chips - luxury items - popcorn and frozen pizzas. Oh and laundry detergent. Gotta remember that.

I've spend a fair amount of time with the Springsteen biography by Peter Ames Carlin. Springsteen's background is interesting. He came from some kind of rough beginnings. There are reasons he writes the songs he does.

I guess I better find some socks and shoes and get moving. I have some cute little harnesses waiting for me. Thirty or more or so at two or three an hour. I will remember all the locks, I promise. I will either connect all the wires right the first time or I will get better at fixing them.

Our Easter was warm’ish and sunny though Friday and Saturday, on Easter Sunday the weather changed just before the ‘The Agility Dog Show’ when we got there it was raining hard, the rain blowing down at forty- five degree; very wet and cold. After a few competitions the show was abandoned, our dogs hadn’t done any thing at that point by we were wet and cold; and happy to get home and change cloths.

Our Monday after Easter is a Bank-Holiday here, I feel for the people who have driven several hours to get here, and were just in time to see the weather change! I hope you had a good Easter.

Warm and sunny here, both yesterday and today. I hope my bike comes back from the shop soon. It looks like it will finally be springy enough to ride!

Good luck with today's harnesses!

NorthernSeeker April 21, 2014

Wow...you have to move fast when making those harness. Those are a lot of fine motor skills in play.

No grandchildren hunting eggs in your yard? Visualized that happening. Still, sounds like you made the best of a rainy Easter. Good luck with your "knitting."

Easter, regardless where it falls on the calendar, tends to be the harbinger of warm weather here. This year is no exception. Thank God!

Lovely landscapes!

I never understood Springsteen's breakup with Ashley and his marriage to the-tramp-who-stole-my-future-husband. Love the pics. My sons would have loved exploring that creek when they were little. You won't remember the laundry detergent unless you write it down, so go get the stupid pen and paper. I keep my list in my wallet, next to my money. That way, I don't forget my list! :)

RYN: I know why you would have let the lizard eat the wasp. You allow nature to take its course. I do sometimes. Sometimes I interfere.

She wasn't Ashley - Julianne Philips - was on the Sisters show. I wonder how much money she got. I think the question is why he married her, not so much why he didn't stay married to her. The tramp seems more his type.
The bio is good, writer had access to the 'Boss' and answers a lot of questions but it leaves out stuff too.
Band was very surprised at the 'Ashley' marriage, thought the tramp had the inside track from before.
They seem to have a nice family.

Oh, I know...their marriage is obviously a happy one...I still hate the tramp! LOL! Thanks for the correction. I was thinking it was Ashley Judd for some reason. You might like "Glory Days", too.
