Is that really the worst thing you can tell me about an 11 year old? I thought my mom was going to tell me ‘She had 15 abortions.’ or ‘She’s doing meth’
All those things would’ve been unacceptable.
But this? this is literally nothing to even bat an eye at.
My mom decided to divulge this information to me after i proposed that i buy her an ipad pro for Christmas. The purpose of her telling me was to sway me from doing so.
My mom is so old school. She has a lot of progressive views but then others that are stifled by religious indoctrination.
Not my dad, he said “You are who you are” in complete open acceptance.
Anyway, I bought her the ipad and will ship it soon (she lives in the carolinas). it took me a while to setup the whole parental controls for her because shes a minor (i’ve literally never used apple before) i cant wait for her to finally get it. :)
