I think it’s time to retire Facebook. My friends have been saying it for years, it’s a trashy site and it’s definitely not good for your psyche.
Why did it take me so long to realize? I think it was because i thought i could just ignore the angst-fueled ‘evidenced based’ conspiracies that dominated my feed by… boomers.
I realized my feed is overun by middle aged people who pride themselves in Youtube University.
There’s a lot of nonsense on facebook. I don’t mind the funny memes and being in the ‘know’ about social gatherings. Remember facebook used to be for horny college kids trying to get their dick wet? Now it’s just your weird aunt posting flat earth and anti vaccine articles (even sometimes ironically, unknowingly posting The Onion and The Babylon bee) which is a boner killer to all.
It’s just super bizarre time where everyone’s opinion matters no matter how ignorant.
