Wow, time is certainly galloping along. Today is the annual "Dr Visit" for the cows, calves, and bull. Vet will arrive after he is done with his office hours, which is sometime after 12 noon. Not sure how long it will take this afternoon, but at the end of the day we will be done for another year. For new readers, our cattle receive their vaccinations for black leg, they get wormed and fly repellent pour. The calves receive their vaccinations and the baby bulls become baby steers. Now if you're an animal activist you are convinced we're monsters, but I assure you the herd is taken care of better than some children. Sad but true.
Have a housefull coming for Easter dinner tomorrow I started the cooking last night and will continue today until the vet comes and then resume the preparation when he is gone. IF I had of been smart I would have taken off on Monday. Apparently I'm not smart, but if I'm totally exhausted, I will call in to take off. Not sure which is worse, being home with company or being at work in solitude.
Dude and Dudette bought a new car this week. A KIA. I'll see it this weekend I'm sure. I think they also bought a motor home (used). Not sure that has happened yet, but I've already got thoughts on borrowing it. lol
BIL's job hopes are getting more distant. He is selling products on Ebay though. They are getting a first hand lesson in dad's ways and oddities. Sister is surprised at how similar her autistic 4yr old and dad are. I knew.
No more break time, it is time to get potatoes peeled for potato salad.
Have a very Happy Easter!! We celebrate the purpose of Jesus's coming as a baby, living as a man, and dying on the cross, so we have the chance at eternal life. HE LIVES!
God Bless
