Stalling. in Everyday Rants...

It’s Sunday, and I need to get my ass to the market and restock. I just don’t want to. I’m showered and dressed, but I have no energy to go. That and the cat is asleep with his head against my foot (I tend to sit with my legs to the side on the couch) and having a dream, plus it’s raining again. It’s a short week.. (startled by dreaming cat twitching)… and a long 4 day weekend, which will be quite necessary.

I think I’m getting sick. I have chest congestion and a little cough, but no other symptoms. Could be the covid, could be the cigarettes. Yeah, I know. Filthy habit. DayQuil/NyQuil seems to be helping, so I don’t think I’m totally hosed.

J got to talking to me about supplements the other night, after she read that post. Looks like I’ve been taking the less effective form of B12, so that’s gonna change. Funny thing is, I told her my irritation is my lack of energy, and I know she’s a nurse, but she starts talking about my symptoms and asking about my iron levels. Guess I’m just not used to her working on me. LOL! She says my iron looks a bit low (cat starts twitching again)… so I’m gonna try that and see if it helps. I’d love to be able to get up and do more easily.

One other thing I need to figure out is my sleep. And I’m not just saying that because I’ve been up since 06:30 and it’s not 15:31. I got Samsung Health figured out, and it now tells me the difference between light, heavy, and REM sleep, but which is the most restorative? I know REM is good for repairing the brain, but if I want to wake up refreshed, should I be spending more time in REM or heavily asleep? The graph is all over the place, including fragments where my watch thinks I’m awake. Like I say in my youtube videos, “leave your comments down below.”
…Hmmmm, that could be a little misinterpreted.

Aright, enough stalling. I can get up now. I just farted and woke up the cat.
