Saturday afternoon I hopped into a car with my old friend, and a new one. We drove about three hours to the state of Utah. Some place I had never been. Our destination was a dam high in the mountains. I am all about nature, mountains are the most beautiful to me. I come from a place that does not have mountains, so I was really ecstatic to take this day trip. we approached the half way point, and that is where it all started to take a turn for the worst. I soon discovered my camera was broken. That disappointed me greatly. I had just bought a new SD card to keep all pictures of my big move, and all adventures I would be having.
The night before we anticipated venturing to this dam I ended up breaking my clean streak. I gave into temptation, and soon found myself doing Heroin. This time it made me feel extremely sick. I ended up just wishing the high away. About a year ago one of my good friends passed away from overdosing on the same drug. I must promise to myself to never endulge in that activity again.
Wile getting closer to this dam I started feeling the drug from the night before kick in just a bit. I thought that was strange. half way up the mountain I felt extreme waves of sickness. Every so often I insisted the driver pull over so I could vomit. Now I am not one who usually gets motion sickness, but by the time we finally got home I needed to lay down and I still felt a slight moving motion. When I awoke I did not feel any better.
Slipping into old habits is not the greatest for my addictive behavior. Yet there was a party that called my name after I woke from my nap. Wile still feeling greatly sick I decided to buck up and go hang out with my friends. It came to my attention when I got to this party I felt more sick than before. Someone soon of my sickness, and offered me cocaine. I thought to myself it couldn't hurt. It was an upper just what I needed. To my surprise it made me feel ten time better. My headache, and stomachache dispersed. I spent all that night snorting line after line, and throwing myself into a thrilling game of beer pong.
Today Is Monday I have a raging headache that I cant shake. My stomach cant hold food down. Cold, and hot sweats come in waves. Physically I feel weak. Now only the elevation is to blame. I am not accustomed to being this high above sea level. It is really starting to take a toll on me. hopefully my body will adgust soon. I am not sure how much longer I can withstand this type of sickness.
