Here are pictures of our first 2 weeks of homeschooling preschool. We focused on the letter "A" and "apples" (and other fruits, too). We do a craft once a week, we did an apple tree and an apple. We bake once a week (we didn't the first week), but the second week we baked apple bread. We spend 30-45 minutes max on schoolwork each day. Somedays we skip it if we aren't feeling well, etc. We usually do work wherever we feel like it -- kitchen table, dining room table, bedroom floor... in our pajamas. :) I print stuff off one particular website that i really like, plus i use workbooks and a few other books with activities.
(Today we started the 2nd week, "B" and "ball. And he SAID "B" and "ball" outloud, which is a big deal for us. :) )
