I've been trying to multi-task today and seem to create new tasks as I plod along.

Did I mention that I had ordered some fabric and boning 2 Mondays ago. The evening of the day I took dad to Columbia for his Drs appointment I got on-line and went to Joann's Fabric. I had decided to make my niece a cover up for breast feeding and did get one made for her shower but was very curious about using the boning a lot of the u-tube videos showed. I found it on Joanns along with a fabric sale of such cute fabric. I justified ordering more fabric since I've used a lot of my inventory making various things. I finally got time to wash all the fabric and last night I cut out the piece for the cover up. This morning I began and in between I would go outside and hoe up along the concrete in the front of the house. When it rains very hard and the gutters can't hold the downpour the rain hits all along the front. I decided that I needed to take out the rocky dirt and put actual gravel along the entire front of the house next to the concrete. I began the project last night and continued today. I have a long way to go, but it is started. I also needed to work on the side of the house by Jacob's room. It has never grown grass very good there because it stays so shady. A couple of years ago I took a piece of leftover duct work and made a planter back there. Again, not enough sun so the tomato plants only did so so. My plan for back there is to have Dude take the tractor and scoop out the dirt and have a couple of loads of gravel brought in to put down back there. I needed to get the duct work emptied of LOTS of dirt to get it out of the ground. It took me a while but I finally was successful. Just for laughs, I did spread some of the dirt throughout the area and since grass seed has been sewn back there, one never knows, although I'm pretty sure til the gravel plan comes together I'll only be mowing weeds in that area. :(

I had to take off sick on Thursday. It was the very first night that it was just myself and Jacob for the evening meal and I fixed him chicken patties and I warmed up some chili. Baaaaaad idea. I blamed the tummy troubles on the chili but I also slept a lot on Thursday and still was able to sleep good Thurs night. I think the later nights had something to do with the sleeping but I felt so much better on Friday and today I feel good too.

I did some research after the one word text message and even watched a couple of videos. The education and reminder was a good thing. It even talked about the cursing and several ways to deal with it. The most important thing I learned is pretty much what I knew and that was there is not a solution that works for every child. That is the same answer for kids without autism so I am praying more (a LOT) and asking God to allow me to think before I speak or react. It is helping and then I put myself in my sister's place. I know she didn't expect anything like she is having to deal with when she decided to have a baby, but as difficult as it is at times, I can see the love and patience she has for him and he loves her soooo much. This will work out in time and I pray that they all get the help they need for all of them.

They went to visit with sister's BIL and family and to also talk about the details of the job. They still haven't found a place to stay and they have all their household goods in storage units. Not sure the house she wants to have and the price they can afford to pay in rent are going to work out, but praying it does work out for the best.

I have to swap clothes out in the laundry department now. Take care and God Bless and we have a beautiful beautiful day with temps in the low 80s.
