Lot's going on. Another Funeral today. Dear Deacon brother has gone on to be with His Deacon buddys in Heaven. There is some rejoicing going on in Heaven with that bunch of guys up there trying to one up each other.
Lots of biddies hatching every Saturday. Can't use them all but I am a Hatch-a holic. Gave some to my son and sold some and still have to many. Chickens still laying and I am setting them every Sat. I just love this time of the year. Got my garden going. planted just what I love to eat most this time. Tomatoes, cucumbers, egg plant, peppers, and I will plant some water melons and pumpkins a lil later. Kids love the pumpkins. They can't wait to pick them and carve their Jack-O- Lanterns.
Going rip some lips Friday afternoon in the Marsh. Catch a boat load of perch hopefully. Nee to dig some earth worms too. Some Blue Gills, Chinque pins, goggle eyes, bass. Better not get close to my hook. I aint been pole fishing since last fall. I smell a big fish fry in the back yard coming on......
Waiting on geese to hatch. Rabbits dominoing like crazy, finally. Ducks setting. Llama preganant. Calves big aand fat. They made the winter real good. Hope to have a calve by this time next year or maybe a lil later. Pigions not laying yet. Cornish and RIR laying good. Goats just goats. Red Butte was wormy last week. Had to give her a shot. She don like shots. Dumb Butte got his horns hung in the fence. Took me a while to get him to turn his head just right. I wanted to just break his neck to get him out but, that would have meant having to skin him and cut him up and wrap him for the freezer. I wasn't in the mood for all that. So I just cut the wire holding his dumb butte. White butte (his Moma) smartest of bunch and agitates me the most. Forest aand Rosie agitate too. They too big for me to man handle though. (calves) Yestidy I thought Forest was going to walk up the steps to the feed room to get some feed. Switched his nose real good and He changed His mind.
All the family healthy and not sick. (blessed) Yall have a good urn. Pray for me those of you who pray.
