John's working all hours this week... Monday he left at 1pm and got home at 11... yesterday he was supposed to do it again but they messed up and didn't send the new computers over, so he didn't have to go. He had to drive down to Broward to deliver a computer to somebody else instead, and I decided to go with him to keep him company. All I was doing was sitting in the car for five hours, but boy was that exhausting! I didn't realise how long we'd be out of the house when I decided to go... I was in bed at nine o'clock last night and asleep before ten... I had wanted to go to the morning service today but I was too exhausted to go anywhere. This is a do nothing day for me because I'm too tired to focus on anything. I've been laying around watching tv and just sitting here at the computer is making me want to go lay down again... yawn! Poor John doesn't get that luxury. He has to work twice as hard today because he couldn't do it yesterday - he was out the door at 7.30 this morning and he doesn't expect to be home before midnight.

Those are some rough hours for him (and you by connection with him). I've noticed, especially in some of the other advocates in the shelter that when the sleep cycle gets messed with, the immune system is unhappy. We humans apparently require regular internal clocks and regular sleep/wake cycles. Hope his schedule evens out soon.
