I've worked things out with Crazy from my previous entry. Long story short, she thought she was being funny when she said my house was a mess and that I should get my children in to clean it up. Being the PMS crazed individual I was at the time, it hit me the wrong way (plus, this was the third or fourth day in a row of left-handed compliments (?) that proceeded her "joke", thus priming me for a defensive position.

ANYWHO.

Kids are doing GREAT with time4learning.com. As a matter of fact, Jake is about to be promoted to third grade for yet another subject. Language Arts and LA Extensions are the only two he is actually doing "on time." This makes perfect sense, as that is his weaker subject. Loulou has been going too fast through her Social Studies, however, and needs to redo about 25 lessons, as she totally failed that many of them. I wasn't keeping up on top of that for a little while (obviously) but now plan on checking their work weekly instead of ahem.. monthly.

Our minecraft server is seeing a bigger group of kiddos playing. This has prompted me to nudge DH into action in getting the website's paypal store officially set up. It'd be great if we didn't need to dump money into running the server anymore, and it became self-sustaining. For those with children who want to play on a family friendly server, find us at craftchicken.com and mc.craftchicken.com .

We made it back to church yesterday, for the first time in a month. There, we were delighted to find that they'd (finally? I dunno) started up a sort of home group situation, to go through a book called The God Questions. This book is supposed to answer the questions Christians get asked, so we can be confident in the why behind our belief, if that makes sense. It's a daily reading of about two pages, asks questions and whatnot. There were 20 adults and 31 children at the first meeting we attended yesterday, at a church lady's house. There were several youth teens in attendance, to take care of all those littles. We will be chipping in to show our appreciation for their help by donating to the Youth Trip Funds.

I think that about wraps things up.
