If judged by my waist size, I might be mistaken fr a food expert, but that would be false judgement. I am mere a self-professed eating expert. Before the stroke, some thought I was a decent cook, but truth us I was decent at following written directions, otherwise called recipes, but whatever…
The latest meal I ate was from a place called “Koji Japanese Grill I found though Grubhub. This is good because at 81 years old, my mother, who does most of the cooking for the two of us, has lost the memory of some of her former culinary works of my childhood and thus she tends to fall into a rut menu-wise. So, since before the Covid house arrest, I’ve been setting Saturday evening meals aside to order our meals for delivery in order to provide her a break and also to allow us both to experience variety in out diets.
So the dish I had was a chicken ans steak combo dish with sauteed onions and squash with sweetened carrots over fried rice all with a savory yet slightly sweet dipping sauce. All in all, it was standard hibachi fare. Nothing objectionable nor spectacular.
I found the food very tasty and I wished for some sushi and calamari.
I sit here this evening…satisfied.

I could eat sushi, or Japanese food for the rest of my life and be totally content. I crave it far more than pizza.
