April's Fools Day in Day by day

It's another beautiful day here today, as it is in Wales. I'm having a real chill day, as I was listening to my audio book for a greater part of the night. Not sure if I just was not sleepy or that I just had to continue to listen.
I was certainly gripped by the book and certainly wanted to get to end, so listen I did. I left about 30 minutes to listen to before I set it aside and went to sleep. I have no idea what time this was.
I sleep till Archie jumped all over me at 7.45 am, I was still not in mood to wake and start the day but by 8.05 I was down stairs to see hubby off to work. I have done little today and don't intent to do much more then that all day. I enjoy my chill days and know they do me good. So hey no guilt there.
I did finish the last 30 minutes of the book and was left with a warm glow. It was a very emotional book that got right to the core of the woman in me. It was hard to keep listening too at times but well worth the effort to go through the emotion journey.
This is the book. The Light Between Oceans By M.L. Stedman Narrated by Noah Taylor
This is the last Audio book I read We Used To Be Kings By Stewart Foster Narrated by Tom Lawernce
This was a novel about mental illness and how it shapes your life.
Also a very emotional book.
Maybe I need a comedy now.

A book that really speaks to you is a wonderful treat, I find John le Carré is one of the more reliable authors for me, I like audio books and have the complete ‘George Smiley’ stories in a ‘BBC box set’ I find the end of a really good book be it Kindle, disc or printed page rather sad; few stories stand up to a second reading to soon! One author who’s work dose stand often reading is Allan Bennett, especially his diaries!
