Yesterday was so beautiful. I really really needed a day like that. The kids and I went for a super long walk and it was so nice to just be outside. It was the first time I've ever gone for a walk with the kids without a stroller. My daughter is 22 months and she actually walked the whole way. This summer is going to be a lot different without being strapped to a stroller. :)
They also played out in the backyard. This is going to be different too, because both of them are able to climb up the climbing wall to get to the top of the slide by themselves. So I might be able to actually just chill outside and read while they play! A whole new world, I'm telling you!
It's small things like this that make me question whether we want another baby or not. My husband does. I do too, but sometimes it's just so nice to be done with babies. There is so much more freedom in having a 3 yr old and an almost 2 yr old. I think I may be getting spoiled by it. ;) On the other hand though, the thought of never being pregnant again, never having a small baby again, never breast feeding again makes me so sad. And I've always picture us with 3 kids.
It would probably be irresponsible to have another baby. We're not bad off for money but one more would definitely tighten things. And... my mental health has suffered with the last two babies. Badly. And I did have rough pregnancies. I ended up on bed rest with both and I'm not sure how that would work now that we have 2 little kids and not much help.
Ok, I have things to do today. Better get to them.
