Wow the time really does fly by, or so it seems!

It’s been some 10 weeks or so now that we’ve been in lockdown, 10 weeks that I have had the good fortune to wake up every morning in the same bed (and the arms of) Tom. And that’s been one of the good things about this covid - it’s put me and Tom together, as in living together, and it’s actually really nice! It’s been of benefit to Noelle as well, as it means that both of us have been there for her, and it’s given my parents a little bit of a break too!

On to Noelle. She’s crawling around quite a bit, and I think she’s been euipped with a turbocharger as she can get up a decent speed going across the floor chasing after me if I move to a different room! She does wear herself out a bit though, as is no apparent as while I write this she is asleep on the sofa next to me.

The problem with lockdown though is that it gives me very little to write about - Tom is working from home, I’m full-time mum, Noelle is full time baby - and that’s about it. We’ve also had really fantastic weather, which is a bugger as we’ve not been able to do much, and as some restrictions ease, people are crowding some places causing the risk factor to rise again.

Oh, and the other news - Tom and me are semi-engaged! W’ve talked about getting married, and we want to, but he did say that to be properly engaged he has to do it right - getting the ring, going down on one knee and asking me properly. When things are eased enough, it’ll happen, and then we can start to think about planning for me becoming Mrs Maizee.

Noelle is starting to stir, so I think she’s about to wake up from her nap - so I’d better call it a day here, and go back to being mummy again!

Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
