Finally the weather seems to have warmed up. I planted my garden which is not saying too much. Just a few petunias and hung some baskets. I know some people love gardening and I will never understand why I hate it it is just a chore that has to be done. My grandmother used to spend hours in her garden and her house was the showplace in the little town we lived in and my mother had large vegetable gardens, unfortunately it never rubbed off on me.
I had the family over for supper on Sunday . There was 8 of us and we are our own little bubble. My husband had gotten 10 lbs. of cod from NFLD so fish and chips dressing and gravy was the meal of choice. I hate the smell of grease in the house so my daughter had the fries delivered and I deep fried the fish out on the deck. In the middle of this we had a thunderstorm so there I am under the eve trying to stay dry and cook fish. I don’t know if the neighbors saw but if they did they were probably having a good laugh.
