The 1st Amendment in Life After 60

In the past few weeks, we have seen and heard of outrageous claims pertaining to the violation of our 1st amendment rights. To a point, I agree that we have had our rights not only violated but in some cases taken away completely.
At issue is the fact that there are no absolute rights. What happens when your right to worship interferes with mine? Certain types of speech now will land you in jail. And then we have hate crimes. Our founding fathers did not write our Constitution for the 22nd century. And that adds to the problem. Men are left to interpret what they think they meant.
Some will argue that our country was founded on Christian principles but it was set up by the 1st Amendment to prevent just that. No state churches and some would say no state interference. But if I want to sacrifice another human as a part of my worship I can’t do that. My rights have therefore been infringed upon.
We can’t interpret the 1st amendment one way for one group and something else for the others. I either have the right to worship as I see fit or the government is telling me how I can worship.
