I rolled out of the rack at 630. One of the two windows in the bedroom was half open and I had slept half covered. I have no control over heat upstairs. The thermostat has not been on this winter, and yet at the end of march it is 75F in the bedroom even with one window open.
I watched the news then checked the IRS website - where is my tax refund?
Received, approved and should be in my account by Wednesday. Almost two weeks after Maine deposited my return that was filed the same day as the federal.
The temperature came up fast and crested over 50F. The snow is melting fast, showing all the detritus long buried under the winter's snow.
The sun made an appearance. I ran some errands and thought about making a run to the beach, just to see how Popham has fared the winter.
After checking the mail I started opening bills and was a little shocked by Comcast.
Just go ahead and make the mistake of calling any call center on Saturday. An hour on hold before spending another 45 minutes with the "customer service executive."
The bill is still shockingly high, but I got it dropped by $6 and in the deal I doubled my internet speed and got a DVR.
I am avoiding opening the Verizon bill until Monday, because I am sure that will cause me to kick Verizon to the curb and start using a Tracfone. I like the 'Droid but it isn't worth $110 a month. Not at the rate I am using it.
By the time I finished with Comcast girl the sky had closed up shop. Big rains scheduled for tonight through Monday.
Rain all you want, sky. While you are at it keep the temperature above freezing.
