Ludo in The Adventures of Sugarbear and Cupcake

So just before I started typing this entry, I was really getting quite concerned about my youngest dog, Ludo. He’s a pit. He’s probably full pit too. He’s such a sweet boy and such a goof and good dog. Usually he and the other two romp around and play as much as possible. But today he just hasn’t been himself. Yesterday too, in the afternoon at least. He’s just been kind of lethargic and whiny. I think it’s the heat (it’s kind of hot in the house right now, but the air is back on so that should improve.) Also he eats pine straw and sticks on our walks. So that doesn’t help I’m sure. But he just hasn’t really been wanting to run and play. And tonight when we got home from doing some Postmates he had had pretty significant diarrhea all over his kennel. And he never poops in his kennel. I gave him some fresh water and took him to potty (where he shat again). Once inside he threw up pine straw and stick residue and water. I think he drank his water too fast when we got inside. I took him upstairs to give him a bath and then he was crying and didn’t want to play with Rogue although she was trying to encourage him. So I took him out again and he pooped some more! He sat down for a bit with me and now I’m encouraged! He’s actually acting more like himself. He started playing with the other dogs just when I started to type this! I’m so happy! Still, I’ll probably just fix him some boiled chicken and rice for dinner. Sooth his stomach. I’ll keep an eye on him but as of right now I’m feeling better about him hopefully feeling a little better. Until next time!
