So I just had a no show to a zoom meeting. He had responded to an Indeed ad we had posted about joining our team. So he called me. Not the other way around. We scheduled for 11:00 today. This was yesterday that we made this appointment. He no shows. No call, no text and his voicemail is full. Now this is not the first or the last time this will happen. And it actually happens more often than not. Now my question is....Why? Why is it so hard for people to just tell you they changed their mind…they’re no longer interested in meeting? Why is it so hard for people to just tell you they’re not interested in meeting to begin with so I can schedule someone who really is? Why do people not call or text saying that something came up and they won’t be able to make it? Stop it! It’s a major pet peeve of mine. I mean, was I just raised differently? I’m on time, or I call if I’m going to be late or not be able to make it at all. If I’m not interested in an interview or your product I just won’t schedule an appointment. I won’t say I’ll buy your product later or I’ll think about it. Why would I waste your time and mine? Cause you’re going to follow up with me if I say I want to think about it when I really have no intention to do so. It’s just stupid. Sigh. I just don’t understand. I don’t know if anyone reads these posts, but if so, please explain it to me. I would like to understand. Then maybe it won’t bother me so much and I’ll have more patience with people.
And that’s my rant for the day.
