Today Mancub posts he will be moving to Texas, San Antonio specifically. In my mind I had a million questions.
He has been on-again off-again with babymamma since before I ever knew she existed. Her parents are moving, so she is moving and taking grandcub, so he is moving.
I made a lot of decisions at his age without taking into account the logistics. But I was moving up in my chosen profession. Not just moving around.
I wonder if he has even thought what living in Texas is going to be like when he and babymamma are in an "off" phase - with his friends all in Maryland and his family all in Maine.
Makes me trying to connect with my grandson more difficult. Stone 2000 miles from here to there. Long road trip.
But since I still have the hip pocket idea that I may just sell everything and buy an RV not really such a big deal. Gonna have to get a few more years worth of work under my wheels between now and then.
