What has gone down in soul journey

Wow has the world changed or what since my last entry in Jan. I was just getting over the bush-fires that affected so much of the country. I went online and read about a strange flu affecting China. It was put up by a Doctor who worked in China. Little did I know he was about to be arrested and eventually and sadly died from the strange flu.
Well I know now the catastrophic effects of the virus. Now named COVID19. Have you wondered about the 19. That is because it started last year and the Chinese Communist Party kept it hidden and because of those 20 odd days they did nothing to notify the rest of us, the world is paying the price.

At least our government here has been wonderful of how and when they handled it. Our biggest problem was the arrival of the Ruby Princess cruise ship with so many on board who were contagious and they were let back into society. A couple of those folk paid for it with their lives and of course it spread through the community. However due to tracking and an incredible health service the virus has flattened out in NSW. Here in Victoria we seem to be doing really well.

I reckon that is the end of cruising as we know it.

Dan Andrews has proved to be the leader we needed. No schools unless you absolutely need to be there. Amazing work done by the education department. Big cheer for teachers. Social distancing otherwise you are fined big bucks and staying at home except for doc appointments, shopping for supplies and exercise.

The downside is so many business have closed and probably wont open again. My daughter like many others is now working exclusively from home. So it is strange times in deed.

I feel for those countries hit the hardest and now the figures coming out from the states are terrible. New York has been hit particularly hard.
Thank God I paint. My life style hasn’t really changed at all. I feel for those whose way of life now is so totally different.

Only God know when this will end. The government are helping money wise in a big way. Paying rent for folks. Giving our pensioner big payouts to help stimulate the economy and pouring money into the health, business and health sector. We now wait and see for the future outcome. But I am thinking it will not be over anytime soon.
