Why changing path before challenges, drifting away as the next problem arises, is considered cowardice?
Because it is.
How can cowardice, though, not be understood as such in all contexts?
Isn’t sex without love cowardice itself? A way to escape from the very problems love draws up?
Everything’s got pros and cons. In some things, we can minimise the cons. Loveless sex is a prime example.
Where’s the wait, the breathlessness, the disappointments, the pain, the jealousy, the looks, the passion, the scratch, the moan, the beat, the hug, the end, the eye, the hand; where are they? Why avoiding them? Too hard to stand them, but marvellous to cherish.
Everything’s got pros and cons. Avoiding a cons itself has got a pro and a con.
Better being happy for a moment or forever?
You choose.
