The media coverage of Malaysia flight 370 has crossed into surreal. I know for the families affected it is the only story on the planet. But for the other seven billion of us it is just a tragic story. Don Lemon from the Clintoon news network has taken the ridiculous to whole new levels. Speculating on the possibility of black holes sucking the plane out of the sky and inviting psychics to speculate on other equally ridiculous possibilities.
I'd just as soon hear theories if any new evidence comes up. "Breaking News" of rehashing how much we don't know isn't news. But CNN has parlayed that into an increase in ratings.
Long boring weekend. Overcast and cold. A little snow yesterday, but nothing that stuck. Another possible storm on Wednesday. Almost four months into winter burnout.
I caught last week's episode of The Walking Dead yesterday. Did NOT see that ending coming. "Just look at the flowers, Lizzie. Look at the flowers." Takes a lot for a TV show to shake me up, but that did.
Sunday night has too many possibilities on the tube. All at 9PM. TWD, Resurrection, Crisis.
Tonight I guess I'm back to TWD - just to see what boring shit they will serve up after last week's shocker.
