Starting here in case OD completely disappears.

I have been on/off OD for over 12 years. When I first joined the site was not even a free site, you had to find a diary that had been abandoned and then take it over.

I have met some of the people that I consider my best friends on OD. Thankfully I follow most of them on fb so I get to see what they are up to.

I haven't actually written in OD for probably over 6 months but I still enjoy visiting my friends.

So I guess I need to write an introduction for any new people I may meet here. I consider myself an open book so if you ever have any questions feel free to ask. Worst thing that will happen is I will say I'm not willing to answer.

My name is Elizabeth. I am almost (in about 2 weeks) 34 years old. I am divorced from a man. I am currently engaged to a wonderful woman named Trinity. We have been together for 5 1/2 years. She has 2 kids, 1 that is 16 and lives with us and one is 12 that lives with his other mother. I am a nurse, but am not currently working in a clinical setting. I work for the business office of a hospital organization in the appeals department. My job is to appeal to insurance companies when they deny inpatient stays. It's not my favorite job I've ever had but it pays the bills. I am planning on going back to college, once I'm able, to get my bachelor's degree in nursing. The college I got my RN from is now offering a RN to bachelors program that is completely online. Once I do that if I can get up enough nerve to take the entrance exams I will either go on to pharmacy school or to get my nurse practitioner in neonatology. Then hopefully I can say I am working my dream job.

I may or may not write on a regular basis. My life is rather boring currently. All I do is work, hang out with family, watch TV and read books. I don't have much to talk about. But I enjoy reading and catching up on my friends.

Can't really think of much else to add at this time, we'll see how this site goes. In the meantime if you are interested in reading about my past feel free to visit me on OD under the same name!
