Fawkes Gal
I'm a mother, and a wife, but I'm so much more than just that. I'm a former art school geek, a bit of a nerd, drawer, a writer, a music lover, an enjoyer of life, a staunch humanist and defender of human-rights. I am an atheist, a liberal, and a life-long lover of learning. Gender is whatever and I'm queer as fuck. I'm very open and don't shy away from talking about uncomfortable or personal things in my books. So consider yourself forewarned.
"If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else? Can I get an amen up in here?"

Station Eleven in The Book of Books
For some reason I completely forgot to mention this book in my last book post. Maybe it’s because I read it so quickly it completely went out of my head. I actually enjoyed this book a lot. I fo...

A few weeks ago I decided to get my ass back into reading. I read ALL THE TIME when I was a kid. I was the kid that got yelled at for reading at the table. I continued to be a reader into my adu...
Titanic in The Book of Theatre

High Society in The Book of Theatre
This was the first show that we’ve seen at the Ogunquit Playhouse this year. It’s about an hour and a half away from us, and they put on fantastic productions. Unfortunately the prices of their ...
A Chorus Line in The Book of Theatre
This was the last show of The Palace Theatre’s season, and I have to say it’s been a pretty great one this year. The only clunker was Oliver, the first show of the season, but everything else ha...
Jesus Christ Superstar in The Book of Theatre

The Lion King in The Book of Theatre
The Lion King is now Fox’s favorite musical. I was honestly surprised because I thought Little Shop would stay his favorite, but The Lion King managed to overtake it. I enjoyed it immensely, but...
Little Shop of Horrors - Off Broadway in The Book of Theatre
What a FABULOUS time seeing my second performance of Little Shop of Horrors at the Westside theatre. I mean, I was looking forward to it, because I enjoyed it so much the first time, but I wasn’...
Escape to Margaritaville in The Book of Theatre
My mother scored free tickets to this show, otherwise I never would have seen it. Unfortunately she’s been sick for weeks with the flu, so my sister and I wound up using the tickets. It was a fu...
