We found out on 3/10 that the baby is a girl. I’m officially 20 weeks and over the halfway mark. I’m ready to meet my little girl and know that everything is going to be okay. It took us a long time to get to this point and now i just want her to be here. My pregnancy has been pretty uneventful and i like it that way. Since i’m heavy my doc was afraid of diabetes, but my blood work so far has been good. I have actually lost 16lbs since the day i got pregnant. He says he does not want me to gain anymore weight and is okay with me losing. I just need things to stay on track and for baby girl to be happy and healthy. Right now we are liking the name Evalyn and would call her Eva. More thank likely the hubs will change his mind, but i would expect that from him. I think he is still taking it all in. We have so much to get done before she comes, but we haven’t done much. I think now that we know she is a girl and that everything is okay it might jump start him to get moving. I have the urge to shop and get all kinds of girly things, but alas i must wait until after the baby showers to do that. The first 20 weeks flew by so i’m hoping the last do. I”m ready to hold my little girl and see if she looks more like me or her daddy. I’m in love with her already and get excited when i feel her move. Now she just needs to be here :)
