I’m not much of a reader, but I’ve read some books in my life that have influenced me in ways that I had not anticipated. One such book was the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In the book, Zaphod, the President of the Galaxy goes into the Total Perspective Vortex and unexpectedly, comes out upbeat and proud of the fact that he is the President of the near infinity that is this Universe.

It’s (expectedly) the opposite for me, where for some years I’ve been bogged down by the understanding that I am near nothing in this universe and my impact is all but a fleeting second. I’ve been depressed for a while and writing has been one way in which I’ve been coping with episodes of being lost and down. However, I’ve been writing and deleting these notes on my computer, with the assumption that nobody really cares to read what I’ve written. More recently though, I got feedback from some readers of my content in another blog (yes, I have a blog that has reasonable readership for its content) that me putting my vulnerabilities out there helped them cope with events in their life.

So in that vein, this is going to be a journal of my life, my insecurities. Because of the intimate nature of its content, I will stay anonymous. Maybe it’ll help you with some struggles you’re dealing with, maybe it’ll make you chuckle, or maybe you decide this is not for you. Thank you for stopping by anyway :)
