Book Description

Tonight we decided to make some home made philly cheese steaks sandwiches for dinner. I threw some green bell pepper, white onion, mushrooms and carne asada meat into a skillet with a little bit of butter and cooked until meat was done and veggies softened up and then I melted provolone cheese on them. Threw it on some hoagie buns and dipped them in Au Jus. They didn’t have much flavor as I didn’t season them with anything but they were still pretty good! I think next time I’ll add a red bell pepper and some fresh garlic for flavor! Maybe try a different cheese also. My three boys (ages 4, 6, and 8) wouldn’t even touch it to try it but my 2 year old and 13 year girls liked it. Dad and I really did too! Wonder what I’ll make tomorrow! I am tired of the same old pork chops, chicken or spaghetti and mini steaks so we’ve been looking for some more things to try out! Willing to take suggestions!
