Book Description

Individual Total (1.5) is a market in the line of a bookmaker company, which represents the performance of a specific team/player. There are two variations of the event - under 1.5 and over 1.5. Bettors place their bets based on the number of goals/pucks/points they expect to be scored.

The outcome of the bet on Individual Total (1.5) is not dependent on the overall result of the game - a team can score more than 1.5 goals and still win or lose. This type of bet is available for all sports disciplines and can be found in every bookmaker.

Like other popular bets, Individual Total (1.5) has its abbreviation - IT (1.5). It is further divided into “over” - ITB (1.5) and “under” - ITM (1.5).

Individual Total over (1.5)
This market indicates that the chosen team will score a minimum of 2 goals during the game for the bet to be successful. If the team fails to score any goals or scores only one goal, the bet will be considered lost.

ITB 1 (1.5)
Individual Total 1 over 1.5 - a bet that the home team will score at least 2 goals. For example, let’s consider a match between “Freiburg” and “Stuttgart.” If we bet on ITB 1 (1.5), we need “Freiburg” to score at least twice. If the home team fails to score two goals, the bet will be lost.

ITB 2 (1.5)
Individual Total 2 over 1.5 - a bet that the away team will score at least two goals. For example, let’s consider a match between “Borussia” (Monchengladbach) and “Union.” To win this bet, we need the away team to score at least two goals. If “Union” fails to score more than one goal during the game, we lose the bet.

Individual Total under (1.5)
This is a bet that the chosen team will score no more than one goal during the match. The bet will be successful if the team scores one goal or fails to score any goals. If the team scores two or more goals, the bet will be considered lost.

ITM 1 (1.5)
This bet refers to the situation where the first team (home team) will score no more than one goal. For example, let’s consider a match between “Greuther Furth” and “Mainz.” If we place a bet on ITM 1 (1.5), we need “Greuther Furth” to either not score or score only one goal. If the home team scores two or more goals, we lose the bet.

ITM 2 (1.5)
This bet refers to the situation where the away team will score no more than two goals. For example, let’s consider a game between “Bochum” and “Cologne.” If the away team scores two goals or more, our bet is lost. If “Cologne” scores 0-1 goal, our bet is considered a win.

It’s important to note that there is no refund for the bet on Individual Total (1.5). Let’s examine the different bet options for this event.

Individual Total (1.5) in football
Individual Total over 1.5 in football is one of the most popular markets. Bets on IT (1.5) can be placed for the entire game or for specific periods - halftime, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. There are also options to bet on the performance of specific players, and the “over” option usually has higher odds.

Let’s imagine a match between Russia and England. To place a bet on ITB 2 (1.5), you need to find the match in the bookmaker’s line, open its market, click on the odds of the chosen market, enter the stake in the bet slip, and confirm the bet.

Individual Total (1.5) in hockey
Individual Total over 1.5 in hockey generally has slightly lower odds compared to football matches due to higher scoring rates. On the other hand, ITM (1.5) usually has higher odds, as scoring two goals in hockey is not a problem even for underdog teams. Bookmakers offer IT (1.5) markets for the entire game or specific periods.

Let’s consider a game between Carolina and Washington. To place a bet on ITM 1 (1.5), you need to open the match in the bookmaker’s line, find the desired market in the market selection, click on the odds, enter the stake in the bet slip, and confirm the bet.

Individual Total (1.5) in other sports
Football and hockey are the least high-scoring sports compared to others. Therefore, the Individual Total (1.5) market is not as common in most other sports. It usually appears in live mode, primarily for statistical indicators.
