Book Description
In a little under a year and a half, there will be a general election in The United Kingdom, and hopefully we can reclaim the country from the misbegotten coalition that has been slowly destroying it over the last three and a half years.
I believe that it is the duty of a country’s government to look after every one of their citizens equally. To raise everyone up to a far unattainable sky, rather than force everyone down to the lowest common denominator.
Everyone deserves the same chances - whether you are a new born child who happens to be third in line to the throne, or a new born child born to a single mother on a council estate in central London.
Everyone deserves the same chance at life - a chance that should not be predicated on the situation of your birth.
In our society, everyone should be treated equally, and yet over the last forty two months, our government has been consistently and repeatedly screwing over the poorest members of society while rewarding the richest - quite a few of which are sat on the front bench of the government side of The House.
In eighteen months, we have a chance to get rid of them, and to return society to a more sensible and socially just state.
