I was only 12 when it happened. my uncle sexually assaulted me. I remember that night as if it happened last night. I’m 18 now but I woke up that next morning so sore. i never told anyone because i didn’t think anyone would ever believe me, it’s my uncle, my grandma’s brother. so i never told anyone until 2 years later when i found out he overdosed on his medicine, I’m not writing this for sympathy but to spread awareness because it could happen to anyone at any time. you are you so loved , always remember it doesn’t matter what you wear, it doesn’t matter how old you are, there are some cruel people in this world and i just so in happened to come across one. thank you for reading this. i wish you the best in life and i pray that you’ll always be safe
