Book Description

I’m a writer. I have been working on my first novel for quite some time now. I’ve heard it helps to keep a writing journal. So, that’s what this is. I’ve attempted to write in a physical journal, but, like most of my journals, wind up half used and put away somewhere. I don’t want to write every day, but I do want to write about my process.

If anyone sees it and wants to give me feedback or ask me questions, I welcome that. It took me far longer than it should have to learn my own process. Hell, I’m still learning it but I am a lot closer now than ever before.

Once I finally finish my first novel, and I get started on my second, maybe this will serve as a road map. I searched the internet for road maps, “writing tips” and such. None were very helpful. None felt like they were written for my personal writing snags.

I had to cartograph my own road map. Maybe I’ll have this to look back on when I’m stuck or when I let life get in the way. Maybe there are others who don’t fit into the cookie-cutter writing tips category. Maybe my map with help someone else with their own. Maybe someone will have a tip I haven’t read about a thousand times over with a different arrangement of the same words by several authors from several publications.

Thanks for reading.
