I have become acquainted with your name, much-beloved in God, which ye have acquired by the habit of righteousness, according to the faith and love in Jesus Christ our Saviour. Being the followers of God, and stirring up yourselves by the blood of God
Here st. Ignatius is speaking about tne Epnesians stirring up theirselves, u know sometimes we can get to where we dont feel God is close to us, or even God dont care for us but that is just a lie of the devil and thiz just like the Ephesisans we need to stir ourselves up. Now how do we do this like paul says keep on keeping on get up do the work the Lord has giving u, read ur, bible,catechism,church fatherfs etc, get out and do good works remember the bible verse where they ask where wzs u Lord he replied the one u gave a drink to gave food to clothed and the ones u visited in jail. So yes do ur works, And always remember the Lord ssid i will be with u unto the end of the world and the bible says the Lord is not a man who will lie. This is how wd stir ourselves up and the mostimportant thing get up and get to Mass/Eucharist/Church. God bless and have a great day.
