My name is Ricky Ocean. For over 30 years as a Born Again Christian (A person who has placed his total trust in Jesus Christ’s death on the cross to deliver me from the penalty of sin and a place of eternal damnation in Hell upon death, separated from God forever), I was deep into masturbation and pornography, keeping me from really growing spiritually, slowing my progress in my career, wasting money, doing deceptive things, possibly having children (I will explain more about this in later entries) and isolating me from friends and my family. I was living in my head and creating all kinds of fantasies. The last time I used pornography was September, 30th 2015. So far I have been able to be porn free. It has not be easy by any stretch of the imagination, I won’t lie, but through the Holy Spirit, prayer, reading the Bible daily and going to meet with other men who share the same journey, i have been able to stay away from it. In this series of entries, I will be sharing stories of my past, present and future dealings with lust and porn. I will chat about areas regarding lust and porn that cover subjects like fetishes, why we look at porn, thoughts on how to deal with porn. I will be sharing scriptures and also the importance of having Christ as an important part of battling porn. I will be sharing personal stories and also how i might be feeling that day. My objective is to reach out to other Christian men who are battling lust at work, at family gathers and at events. Believers who use devices from smartphone, tablets, apple watches and laptops which can access any kind of porn their heart’s desires. Another area that I feel is not being dealt with honestly and upfront is with in the Contemporary Christian Church Community. I will be discussing morea about that soon. I pray that through this site I will be able to reach out to those struggling with porn and masturbation. I would love to pray for you and help you turn your eyes to Christ and not on a device with a picture of a women you will never meet.
