Book Description
This blog will not be thematic even though some themes might emerge. I don’t hate themes. They work for some people and I am not among them. My love for things fluctuates in unmeasurable periods of time. However, I am learning to embrace my fickle tendencies. In other words, I grow bored easily. Nevertheless I do have something resembling commitment to a few interests such as the written word. I prefer creative and expressive writing above all else despite mostly reading news reports, op-eds and other people’s social media commentary. That is, when I’m not reluctantly reading well written yet dry academic texts. It is a big part of my job as an academic who admires many individuals within academia but dislikes the system. So, here is the first “book” of this “blog.”
