Hello there! Back on this part of the Internet after more than a decade away. I used to keep a LiveJournal fairly often but fell out with the platform after it was acquired. Found PB as part of an initiative to simplify my relationship with technology, as I’m old enough to remember when the Internet was less corporate and more personal.

Some details: I am male, was born and raised in New York City, and currently live there. Had a detour overseas for a while, which I’m sure I’ll write about. I used to work as a writer of sorts, but now I’m a teacher. I might write about some of the funny/ridiculous things my students do, but I’m more likely to write about personal issues and problems, and the lessons I’ve learned in life.

I do hope to meet some folks, so feel free to comment on anything I post. I’m not one of those people who will write about something and then get touchy when asked about it – If it’s something I don’t think is open for questioning or probing, I would just mark it private so people couldn’t see. Feel free to say hi! I’ll copy some of my old LJs to get this started.
