We spent yesterday on beautiful Anna Maria Island, our local beach on the Gulf of Mexico. It was a picture perfect day. Yes, the sky is really that blue, the clouds that white and fluffy. The photo is as shot. It has not been enhanced. Yes, that is really me, dry skin and skinny stick legs and all. I’m OK for 71 I guess. Once you get to a certain age, none of the superficial stuff matters very much. I haven’t worn makeup in probably five or six years. When you live in Florida, sunglasses are considered makeup. My soul is refreshed and renewed. It really takes very little to make me happy.

What a wonderful visit that must have been. Yes, our skies offer some "Upper Landscapes" that are remarkable. I didn't get to my beach this year, no real reason for that, but hope to go soon for an outing.
