The Week of Intensity in The Stuff That's Not Interesting But Is The Most Interesting Stuff I'll Write

So much has happened this past week, it makes me dizzy to think about.

So I’m going to summarize it quickly: I hung out with Eric and planned our trip to San Francisco, stopped a rape from happening in the bar, visited my hometown with my friend Kat, ran into adults that were children the last time I saw them, went out with Crystal and Loco and ended up seeing Kevin, picked up Richard in Sacramento and went out for happy hour, then I ended up having to go to the ER because my grandmother was unresponsive, then I spent the entire night with her in the hospital.

I can’t imagine how I’ve been getting through this week. My parents are gone to the Caribbean, Chuckie has left for Mozambique, and Cameron has been left in charge… which has been disastrous. He doesn’t do anything except plan this sensational party he’s having. I was absolutely furious with him… he’s supposed to be in charge, be helpful, be responsible. Instead, I’m left alone holding my grandmother’s hand in the middle of the night watching her die. I’ve never been more furious with anyone in my life.

Chuckie, who at the time was in Manhattan, answered his phone, but Cameron couldn’t be bothered. Later he told me that he was tired and so he shut his phone off so that he wouldn’t be disturbed. When I tried to explain to him how upset I was, he just shook it off.

I love Cameron, I really do, but I’m so irritated that he doesn’t seem to care about anyone else’s feelings. And I get that it’s part of being 20, but ugh.

Plus, the texting guy still won’t leave me alone. I’m just exhausted with people right now. And this weekend is my trip to San Francisco with Eric.

You need to make a new book - 'The stuff that sure as fuck IS interesting'.
Jesus. You just casually mention you stopped a rape from happening, and then rushing your grandmother to the ER. My mind would be a mess.
And your brother, ergh. I hope he learns some perspective sometime.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I wish you had some better support.
