ERASED (Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi) in Animé

The story follows Satoru Fujinuma, a man who somehow possesses an ability that sends him back in time moments before a life-threatening incident, allowing him to prevent it from happening. When someone is murdered by an unknown assailant, Satoru’s ability suddenly sends him back eighteen years to when he was still in elementary school, giving him the opportunity to prevent a kidnapping incident that took the lives of three of his classmates.

i LOVED this series!!! The story was excellent!

i really didn’t want it to end! The story and the mystery of who could be the killer and to see Satoru trying to change the outcome of the the kidnapping and killings was really thrilling and compelling! i couldn’t wait for the next episode to show up online to stream.. i was glued to my tablet during each episode!

i was using a kissanime app (under a different name) to stream it. That app has 3 other sites you can search for anime as well. App name is Akhyou!

And apparently there’s a live action film in the works!!! i’d love to see that! i’m just wondering how they’re gonna portay the killings… will it be in your face gory (not my thing in a real movie), or a bit PG-13?

i would recommend this to anyone! Even ppl new to anime! I say that because there’s a really good story there! How he goes back and forth between adult and when he was a kid might seemed weird to those that dont watch anime. For me, as with anything i see really, i just watch it. if there’s anything i dont get i just keep watching and let the story unfold.. i know whats tricky to get a first will come clear. Its not that what happens to him is tricky.. its just different. But when it first happens you do get it. He even explains how he can go back in time.

i finished this series on saturday. Friday was when the last episode was available. And to be clear this is a new series that just finished.

this wasn’t the first anime this year that was new to me. A Lull in the Sea was the first one i watched. That is a completed series too. And i think that was made recent as well. i saw it before this one. And both i was hooked from the first episode! i’ll write a review about that soon.

i also just finished watching an old series again that was made in 1999 called Dual! I remembered how much i liked it when i first saw it on tv. i forgot most of what happened, so in a sense it was new to me again! i’ll probably write a review for that in the future as well.

im including the opening of ERASED below. i love how they did the opening, and i LOVE the song!!! Yes i love japanese/asian music!
